This is Seamus, my new puppy, as of last week! He is 7 weeks old and adorable. Seamus is a Border Collie, just like his brother, Darwin.
Favorite Things to Do on a Rainy Day
Saturday, October 25, 2014
It is currently one of the rainiest Saturdays I've ever seen. 50mph gusts of wind, pouring rain, everything is SOAKED, and it's really cold out there. But inside, I've got everything I could ever want. By the way, rainy days at my house are the BEST things ever.
1. A roaring fire in the fireplace keeping me warm.
2. A cup of hot Earl Grey tea. YUMMM :)
3. Some bacon mini quiches.
4. Old movies on the TV (currently Shirley Temple)
5. A cuddly cat that loves me (Momo).
6. A metal roof that makes the rain sound AWESOME. (Especially upstairs)
7. Some fuzzy blankets & slippers :3
8. A sketchbook & pencils.
9. A bunch of books.
10. 40 acres of puddles to jump in.

50 Things
I've compiled a list of items I'd bring with me if I were to be stuck on a deserted island for a year. Of course, a year isn't a real long time, but it would seem pretty long to someone sitting there for 365 days ALONE. Hopefully, there would be wireless internet.. And mostly-good weather. Actually, I wouldn't mind a little rain.
Anyway, here are the rules: you are fleeing to a deserted island abundant with life because you are escaping from death because a bunch of serial killers are after you. You are going to be there for at least a year, and can bring 50 items with you. Yes, the island has free internet and you have the password. Whatever you are wearing RIGHT now is what you wear to the island, so if you're in PJs, I'd recommend bringing some clothes! Oh, and the island has a bunch of fruit trees and white, sandy beaches. The ocean is not only full of edible fish, but also killer sharks- so be careful! And by that, I mean wait an hour before you get in the ocean after you ate because you could get a cramp :D Also, assuming there are animals on this island, there MUST be fresh water!! There is a picture of what it looks like above.

What Should I Blog About?
Saturday, October 18, 2014
Come one, people! Head to the comments section and give me some inspiration! I'll choose one to make a blog post out of. Or, better yet, give me MULTIPLE ideas! Give me all the things you want me to write about and comment it below. Hurry- ASAP! I need something to post :P
The Legend of Mick Dodge
In case you don't already watch The Legend of Mick Dodge, it's a pretty amazing show. It's about this crazy man who lives in the Hoh rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula and he is AWESOME. His name is Mick Dodge, and he used to live civilized, but moved into the woods after awhile. But he's not completely alone- Micks' got his friends, Karl, Moss Hopper, and the camera crew, and his dog, Gabu. But let me get this straight- he is NOT a survivalist, and though is also known as the Barefoot Sensei, he does wear shoes, and doesn't live solely in the woods; he sleeps up at a friend's shack sometimes in the winter. In a recent episode where he has lost his clothes, Mick covers some hot coals with dirt and sleeps on them like a heated mattress. Season 2 is on on Tuesdays on the National Geographic channel and you can see this guy for real, living in the Hoh Rainforest, the Wild man of Awesomeness c:
