Hello Kitty Urban Legend

  You've all heard of Hello Kitty- the most adorable Japanese cartoon that has nothing to do with evil whatsoever and when you see her, you'd like the squeeze whatever you are holding, she is so undeniably cute. That is, if you have not heard of the urban legend behind this innocent cartoon. 

  It all starts with a Japanese woman in the 1970's. She had a daughter with mouth cancer, therefor she cannot speak. After speaking to a doctor, he said that she is incurable and will most likely not live. So this woman went to every church in her town, and prayed every single day- until she did the unthinkable. She make a deal with the devil. Legend says that this woman made a deal with the devil saying that he would cure her daughter IF- she created a cartoon character that would bring happiness to children across the globe.Thus, her daughter was healed and Hello Kitty was born.

  Unfortunately, that is simply a myth- in reality, Hello Kitty was created by a Japanese cartoon company called Sanrio as a child-friendly character that would surely satisfy all children- and they have succeeded! It has now been over 40 years, and Hello Kitty has brought happiness to the world. 

  Some say that Hello Kitty is a secret image or code used around the world by those affiliated with the devil. You may see some men with Hello Kitty tattoos... That comment was based off of my own experience. Thanks for reading, and LOVE HELLO KITTY! :)
