Why Lilo and Stitch Is the Best Movie Ever

Lilo and Stitch is pretty much one of my favorite movies. I love how Disney made it so different from every other movie and TV show, and if you haven't noticed, the movies and TV shows they have now are pretty terrible. No offense to Disney- but are you even trying? Lilo and Stitch is the best thing since Finding Nemo and The Lion King. See? All great movies. Here are some reasons to fully support my thesis on Lilo and Stitch being inspiring and overall the best

-Both Lilo and Nani had realistic body shapes, which is better than stick figure silicone Barbie doll that is unrealistic and kind of boring. Nani had curves, and she embraced them.

-Lilo was no ordinary little princess- she was very different than others. She wasn't afraid to fight a girl, her doll wasn't any normal little fairy doll, and her version of "pouting" was lying on the floor listening to Elvis. Also, she locked her sister out.

-Um, HELLO?? Elvis. The entire movie. Nothing but Elvis. Nothing but the KING.

-Lilo and Nani fought like normal sisters do. They screamed at each other, they yelled, they insulted each other, it was like normal sisters. I'm serious, all sisters do this, why do you not believe me?

-Lilo did not love a puppy, she did not love an abandoned kitten, it was no bird or fish- that thing was a genetic experiment that ended in an alien who destroyed some things. But he loved Lilo. It was no pet, nor a prince- it was a Stitch.

-She lived in Hawaii, what more can I say? It was not Europe, there was no castle, she was not royal in any way, and it had nothing to do with finding her true love. Hawaii was the perfect setting for this story, there's no doubt about it.

-Lilo and Nani didn't exactly have a lot of money. Lilo was nearly taken away from Nani to go into foster care, all just because they thought Nani couldn't do it. But let me tell you- Nani did EVERYTHING she could. Every little thing went towards Lilo having a happy childhood despite not having her parents with her. Every time Lilo filled up that camera, her sister got them developed.

-Lilo was bullied a lot, that's very true, but a) She stood up for herself and b) she kept trying to be friends with Myrtle. I'm not exactly sure why Lilo was made fun of, but half the time it was because of her "dog".

-Lastly, there was David- and that tragic love story between him and Nani. He did everything he could possibly do to hook up with Nani-including dating Pleakley for a little while- but Nani always made time for Lilo. Not only was there true love between Lilo and Stitch, but between Lilo and Nani.
