Friday DIY Roundup #44

Friday, December 4, 2015

Happy Friday, guys! I'm just ecstatic about the weather right now, it's been raining for, like, 3 days straight and I love it. I love the sound it makes pounding down on a metal roof, and the way it get's dark out at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and how you just feel so cozy when you're inside- no matter what. If only my cat would stop running up and throwing herself against the door to get inside.... But luckily, if you don't like the gloomy weather (wherever you are) then here are seven DIYs to keep you happy because I care about everyone- tis the season...

FREE Inspirational Desktop Background!

Thursday, December 3, 2015

Hey, guys! A couple of months ago I was watching one of my favorite YouTubers, MyLifeAsEva, and she actually inspired me to make this. It was her "Make 2015 YOUR Year" video, and she was talking about how you could make a really pretty and trendy desktop background for yourself just by saving a few inspirational photos and then going on PicMonkey and making it into a DIY background for your desktop/laptop/iPhone/etc. I had a lot of fun saving cool pictures I found on Pinterest, and then finally putting them into one big collage. You can do this, too, if you don't like what I put together! You can download this and save it as a background, and if anyone compliments it, just give me credit ;)

6 Awesome Ikea Hacks

Wednesday, December 2, 2015

Happy Wednesday, readers! I'm currently LOVING the weather where I live, it's just to die for- for some people, I guess. In the mornings, it's super foggy and dark and sometimes kind of rainy, and then it mellows out towards mid-morning and noon, but at around 3 o'clock it the best- it's dark in the middle of the day, cold, and totally straight out raining. I love this. In fact, my writing teacher recently commented on how someone in something I was writing could be actually excited to go back to a cold and rainy climate after visiting someplace tropical, like Mexico. But, yeah, that's just me.

15 Delicious Breakfast Recipes

Tuesday, December 1, 2015

Hey guys, happy December first! I always love the beginning of a month because it means that I can write out a set of goals, and then I try to accomplish them by the end of the month, and it's pretty fun. And December should be especially fun because we have Christmas this month! I also like to make a list of all of my family and friends that I'm getting gifts for, and what I think I should give the. It helps me plan everything out and look at things at a glance, instead of just going shopping and trying to remember a bunch of people, and maybe forgetting someone because you're so stressed out, and then not even knowing what to get anyone. But even if you are going to do that, try to have a good breakfast so that your day has a better start!
