It's a time where you can sit down and sip your Earl Grey in peace, with yummy little snacks being the only thing to accompany you (and maybe the occasional cat). If you want to DIY your own teatime at home, then teacakes and biscuits are the most important part~

7 Delicious Christmas Cookie Recipes

Tuesday, December 15, 2015

Happy Tuesday, and happy 10 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! Everyone knows that once the holidays roll around, it's time to get out the sugar and the flour (and the molasses, in my case) and get baking! Instead of making gingerbread cookies, my mom makes yummy molasses cookies, which taste way better than ginger bread cookies and have a chewier texture, while still looking good enough to make a gingerbread man out of. Unfortunately, I won't be sharing that recipe today (sorry, it's a secret recipe ;) ) But here are seven almost-as-delicious yummy Christmas cookie recipes for you to cherish~

Salted Caramel Turtle Thumbprint Cookies | Best Christmas Cookies1. Three Ingredient Buttery Shortbread Cookies by Chew Out Loud

2. Eggnog Snickerdoodles by Amy's Healthy Baking

3. Raspberry Almond Shortbread Thumbprint Cookies by Cooking Classy

4. German Chocolate Cake Cookies by The Gracious Wife

5. Salted Caramel Turtle Thumbprint Cookies (as shown in photo) by Cooking Classy

6. Cranberry Orange Cookies by Your Homebased Mom

7. Hot Chocolate Cookies by Love From the Oven

These all sound so amazing, I wish I could just grab them right off of my computer screen... Even though I'm really in the mood right now, we probably won't be baking any cookies until next week at least. But don't forget to check out our Facebook page and follow Rain on a Metal Roof Blog on Pinterest! What is your favorite kind of Christmas cookie?
