In case you didn't know, my birthday is this Friday (that would be the day after tomorrow)... And I'm PUMPED! Obviously, half of that is because today is hump day (happy Hump Day), and the other half is because I LOVE birthdays. I don't understand people who just brush away their birthday like it's nothing, because every year I count down the days, and every year it's the happiest day ever- although there's a really weird pattern where it's always cloudy and cold on my birthday, and usually even raining, despite the fact that it's July. On the subject of splatter painting (the splatter painted balloons above, which, by the way, are sooooo cute!), I was splatter painting earlier today and was corrected on what terms I was using- it's actually primarily called "action painting", not splatter painting. I have NEVER heard it said that way, nor will I probably ever use that term... It sounds like karate painting.

DIY New Years Eve Party Decor & Treats

So when did people start calling New Years Eve "NYE"? Because every time I see/hear that all I can think of is him.. BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY! Anyone else? Just me? Okay. Most people like to have a nice little party on New Years Eve to celebrate the new year, and maybe if you're hosting one this year I thought you'd like some ideas. But first, just think about how in two days, it'll be 2016 and you'll just be thinking about how 2015 was the past.
