Friday DIY Roundup #24

Friday, July 17, 2015

It's everybody's favorite day of the week, the day when we get CRAFTY! It's the middle of Summer, but for the reason, here in Southern Oregon, the heat has seriously died down. The sun is still out, and it's not quite cloudy, but we're barely in the 80's. It was 107 degrees in Grants Pass last month, in the very beginning of June, and now we can't even reach 90. I just got out of the pool, and though it's definitely not as warm as it was, I probably won't get hypothermia in the coming week. I can't wait to make cookies tomorrow for a birthday Potluck we're going to on Sunday, because I love baking, and everybody loves these cookies- they have coconut, butterscotch, nuts, chocolate chips, etc. in them and I would do ANYTHING for one right this second. Instead I've got some chips and a rootbeer- oh well then, let's get to the DIYs!

5. Macrame Hanging Planters by Craft and Creativity

6. How to Make a Star Projector by Instructables

7. Easy DIY Photo on Wood by Lisa Leonard Online

Those star projectors look unreal, and would probably be good for someone living in the city or someplace cloudy, because here in Oregon, all you have to do is step outside on a clear night and BOOM- nothing but stars. Also, Man vs. Pin from Threadbanger tested those glowing clouds of cotton, and yes, they're so real. I can't wait for next weeks DIY Roundup; thanks for reading!
