12 Etsy Washi Tape Favorites

Wednesday, September 30, 2015

Hey guys!! Happy Hump Day! I thought you guys enjoyed that last Etsy Favorites post so much that I should do another one, just because it's fun to write about the fun stuff I find on Etsy. And one of my favorite things to browse on Etsy is- wait for it- WASHI TAPE! Which you can probably already tell from the title but oh well. Etsy has the cutest washi tapes and I love finding a new one that I like that isn't very expensive.

10 MORE Oreo Recipes to Make You Squeal

Tuesday, September 29, 2015

Yay, it's time for more Oreo recipes!!! I did one a few weeks ago and it was so much fun and I loved writing about it so much that I decided to do another one just for fun. Oreos are my favorite thing ever, and just a few nights ago we got the most delicious cookies-n-cream ice cream, I think it was Stoneridge? I'm not sure, I can't exactly remember the name but I really want to share it with you guys. But I'm hungry already, so let's get to the post~

Awesome Ice Box Oreo Cheesecake | The recipe uses a pudding mixture that is combined with cream cheese to give it that "cheesecake" flavor. Crushed Oreos make up the crust as well as being mixed with the cheesecake batter. This ice box Oreo cheesecake is the perfect summer dessert because you won't even need to turn on the oven.: 1. Oreo Fudge by A Bun in My Oven

5 Etsy T-Shirt Favorites

Monday, September 28, 2015

I love Etsy! They have so many cute t-shirts, and as you may know, t-shirts are my style of choice. Every day, a t-shirt. Not really a blouse, or a tank top, but rather a t-shirt. Because why, you ask? They're comfy and they have cute things on them! (and they're comfy) So since Etsy has, like, a bajillion cute tees, I decided to share a couple of my favorites.

PLANTS ARE FRIENDS t-shirt shirt tee unisex womens mens cute kale flowers vegan floral cactus tumblr pinterest instagram weed *brand new1. Unisex I'm, Like, 104% Tired Tee

2. PLANTS are FRIENDS T-Shirt (as shown in photo)

6 Ways to Get a Fall Feeling in Your Home

Tuesday, September 22, 2015

Fall will officially be here tomorrow! I can't wait for cozy nights snuggled up with a good movie, big sweaters, warm cups of tea, and the beautiful colors that fill the air. This is one of the first years that I'm actually excited for fall to come, because I'm usually so melancholy that it's getting cold and summer is leaving and school has to start and also THE COLD, if I didn't mention it already. I hate the cold, and I always have, because in elementary school they use to just shove us outside into the freezing temperatures, whether it was raining, snowing, or just really really cold. I always had tons of jackets to prepare me for what was coming, but it was always just too cold for me. Okay, story time over, time for how to spruce up your home for autumn~

1. Grab a new desktop background! I just changed mine before I wrote this post and I love it. Check some out here, they're really cute, and I like the latte ones!

2. Pick up a COZY!!! blanket, whether it be from Wal-Mart or your attic, and drape it across your sofa. Grab a few and put them in random places- your bed, over chairs, folded up on a chair, or wherever you choose. I've got a couple on the couch and one on my bed, for snuggles.

3. Set out some potpourri and your house will smell AMAZING!! I love potpourri. One year, my mum poked a couple hundred whole cloves into an orange and set it on the kitchen table, and it let off such an aroma that really made our house into a cozy home.

4. GOURDS AND SQUASH!!! Put some in a bowl and boom- Autumn all over the place. You can get a few from your local super market, or if you're like me, grow them yourself.

5.  Get rustic! Wood pieces add texture and warmth, so try one all wood piece in a room or maybe wood panel a wall, if your up for it (accent walls rock!).

6. Create an ambiance with a candle. It can really light up a room or at least make it cozy, especially with scents like apple spice and pumpkin pie- yum.

I hope you can use these to make your home as cozy as a bunny snuggling a kitten by the fire while it snows and they're being watched by a baby bear who is KNITTING. That's pretty cozy for ya. Thanks for reading!

I'm super sorry I haven't posted for the last two days. Like, SUPER sorry. But now I have an awesome DIY roundup for this week and I can't wait to share it with you because I found some of the coolest DIYs on Pinterest! I also have a project planned that a may or may not do a post about? I don't know, so stay tuned. Here's for a crafty weekend~

Wednesday, September 9, 2015

Hey guys! Sorry this post is a little late, today was the first day of school and as you can imagine things were a little hectic but now I have a pretty solid idea of what my schedule looks like, which means I might now be late on posts much? But I don't know, because I'm getting up later now and some mornings are busier than others because I DO prefer to do my homework in the morning rather than after school just because I'm a little more awake in the morning (that sounds weird, I know) because I'm just so exhausted after school. But let's get to today's post, my Top 10 Pinterest Recipes of the Week~

My Mochi Favorites This Week

Tuesday, September 8, 2015

As you may know, I LOVE the website MochiThings. It's like Etsy but a little pricier, and it just has the cutest stuff! I've been browsing it almost every day and I always find awesome stuff that I know I don't even need but simply want. You may also know that office supplies and planners and notebooks and pouches are my weakness... Well then MochiThings is my kryptonite. You can check it out here. And here are a few of my personal favorites so far~

Essential Pouch CollectionThis pouch is so cool! An you can get a whole collection of essential pouches for pretty cheap. Wouldn't you love storing your first aid stuff in here??

Medium Monthly Planner The Medium Monthly Planner is a good size (and a good price) for me simply because I don't want something too small because I write so much and something so big would take up a lot of space, although I personally wouldn't mind the Big/Large Monthly Planner...

Ghost Sticky Note
This ghost sticky note is TO DIE FOR- isn't he BOO-tiful? He doesn't SCARE me at all, in fact I think I have the GUTS to hug him and write on him~

Pattern Masking Tape Set 02MochiThings just has the cutest washi tapes EVER and it's great that they come in little sets. These are just a few of my personal favorites.

Pour Vous Notebook v2 What can I say, I'm a sucker for cute notebooks- notebooks for that matter, but the cuter the better. Oh, I would write in these TO DEATH.

Slim Purse OrganizerThe Slim Purse Organizer is a must-have if you have a really cluttered purse like mine, because it just makes pretty much everything easier. I want one now...

Ardium iPhone 5 Wallet v2
This Ardium Smartphone wallet is super convenient, especially on vacation (which I found out myself while in Hawaii!) because you can keep track of your phone, your money, your credit cards, and your room key all in one little place- your phone case. My mum had one of these a while back (not this exact one, but a similar one) and she loved it.

That's 7 things I love from MochiThings for the 7 days of the week and I'm already excited to post more of these in the distant future. What was your favorite thing on this list? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading!

HAPPY LABOR DAY!!! + My Michael's Craft List So Far

Happy Labor Day, readers!!! Labor Day weekend is one of my favorite weekends of all because it's the last weekend I have before school starts and it's kind of like the last few days of summer I have left. I know Autumn doesn't officially start until September 21, but I just feel like it's already fall when the temperature dies down and we start going to bed earlier so that we can wake up for the dread fest they call school, which starts the day after tomorrow. Friday DIY Roundup #31

Friday, September 4, 2015

Happy pre-Labor Day weekend, readers! I had an orthodontist appointment today so I'm writing this late at night, which is when I always seem to find the best DIYs of them all ;) I've been knitting a lot lately because I'm in a hurry to finish my scarf by the time fall gets here. It's really coming along and I can't wait to wear it because it's super soft and it's my first ever knitting project- I can't wait to experiment with other yarns and make more stuff for the cold weather that Oregon greets us with every Fall + Winter. Let's get to the DIYs, though~

diy | Cookie Cutter Jewelry Trays via @awwsamm: 1. DIY Cookie Cutter Jewelry Trays (as shown in photo) by Aww, Sam

#3 looks super cozy for fall, and I'd really like to try that cookie cutter jewelry tray- but I don't think I'd use it for jewelry, I'd probably rather use it for small office supplies, etc. Which one of this week's DIYs are your favorite? Tell me in the comments below. Thanks for reading!

9 Places to Visit Before You Die

Thursday, September 3, 2015

Travel is an occasional passion of mine. Though I really don't like missing school, it's nice to go to new places, see new people, and add new souvenirs to my collection. My mum is currently in Maui visiting family, and I really wish I'd gone, because they're getting Krispy Kreme without me- but I can't miss the beginning of the school year, so I stayed. But travel is a huge part of a lot of people's bucket lists, including mine, but here are a few places that perhaps are not included in yours.

1. The Oregon coast redwoods are a surely magical place that you must visit. I've been there countless times, because I live in Oregon and we go to the beach sometimes, and it's so beautiful. It's where they filmed a few scenes out of Star Wars... Isn't that cool, that you'll be exploring the place where they found those furry little munchkins? The trees are ancient giants and I bet I could write about the redwoods until I die. I feel so lucky to live this close to the redwoods...
Mendenhall Ice Caves of Juneau in Alaska, United States

2.  The Mendenhall Ice caves of Alaska are some of the most beautiful caves I've ever seen. Though I've visited and seen the Oregon Caves, these are a whole new experience- the whole cave melts as you walk through it! It's like an igloo, all blue inside, and the walls are shaped beautifully- I have officially just added this to my bucket list.

Sea of Stars on Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives3. The Sea of Stars on Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives is a literal sea of stars (but not real stars). Though it looks like a reflection of the night sky above, the bio luminescence in the water is actually caused by marine microbes called phytoplankton and it sure makes quite a site at night. You can draw shapes and such in the sand using the plankton, and if you walk in the water, they trail in your footsteps, leaving your foot prints glowing in your trail until dawn. It sure is a breathtaking site.

4. Whitehaven Beach at Whitusnday, Australia is truly the beach of your dreams. The crystal blue waters swirl into a design along with the finest of all sands, leaving a site fit for any vacation, especially mine, since I have ALWAYS wanted to go to Australia. In fact, the sand is so fine, that walking on it feels like magic and it's extremely calming. Can't wait to go!

The Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States5. The Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world and the view is certainly one of a kind, and so is the hike. You might think it's a really common vacation and it's too hot and probably super crowded so you might not want to go there, but you're a little wrong there. The grand canyon is like a timeline showing millions of years, and how the water that was once there sculpted and molded the rock like clay over time, leaving this natural wonder that will leave you awestruck. It's 277 miles long and 18 miles wide- that's pretty big, so I doubt it'll be too crowded, but don't count on being the only one there.

Trolltunga in Hordaland, Norway6. Trolltunga in Hordaland, Norway is kind of like the edge of the world. In English it means "Troll's Tongue" and it's a ledge on a cliff about 2000 feet up in the air, overlooking beautiful mountains and icy water- so try not to trip, slip, or fall. It's available to some of you extreme hikers from about mid-June to about mid-September, which is probably about how long it will take you to get all the way up there. It's a truly amazing place to add to your bucket list as soon as possible ;)

The swing at the "End of the World" in BaƱos, Ecuador7. The swing at the "End of the World" in Banos, Ecuador actually is the end of the world and I would only recommend this place for extreme risk-takers and daredevils. At the edge of Ecuador lies a rickety old tree house overlooking an active volcano, with an attached swing with no harnesses and thus the most unsafe swing in the world, inviting only the bravest to take a seat, swing, and experience one of the most killer-views in all of South America.

Zhangye Danxia landform in Gansu, China8. Zhangye Danxia is a colorful landform located in Gansu, China and it reminds me of Waimea Canyon in Kauai because of how colorful it is. The swirls of red, yellow, blue, and green will surely take your breath away, and you will want to stand there forever, relishing in the beauty of it all. The rainbow formation is a result of red sandstone and mineral deposits being laid down for 24 million years- which makes it a natural timeline, much like the grand canyon.

9. And last but not least, the Tunnel of Love in Klevan, Ukraine is a popular spot for local lovers. It's definitely a Pinterest favorite! The entire tunnel is covered in green and life, making it a beautiful hot spot for engagement photos and dates, picnics, romantic walks, etc. Though there is an active train that runs 3 times a day to deliver wood to a factory, so beware the train before plan your wedding there!

I can't wait to write another one of these, it was really fun to talk about bucket list favorites and I really want to go to a couple of these places, like #9 and #2. Thanks for reading!
