Saturday, October 31, 2015

Happy Halloween, readers! I'm so excited to go trick or treating this year, I don't think I will ever outgrow the joy of free candy every year. It's been really fun sharing a bunch of Halloween things with you guys this week, like costume ideas, and treats, and fun little DIYs to get you into the spirit of the season. I hope you guys have a fun and safe Halloween this year, whether you celebrate it or not. I hope you get to watch lots of scary movies and such, like me, I'm watching Poltergeist (the old one) when I get home tonight because it's only THE BEST movie of all time. Besides Ferris Bueler's Day Off. And The Breakfast Club. Also The Boy Who Cried Werewolf. So have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Friday DIY Roundup #39

Friday, October 30, 2015

So it's finally Friday, and there's finally only ONE DAY LEFT before Halloween! What are you going to be this year? Did you buy your costume or did you make it? I did half and half. I bought the ears and tail, the rest is completely random- let's just say I'm not a completely black cat this year... Oh well, I hope I get lots of candy nonetheless! Have you noticed that I've begun to number my DIY roundups? That means that this is the 39th week that I've done this, which is pretty shocking, honestly~

DIY: fruit bulletin board: 1. DIY Fruit Bulletin Board (as shown in photo) by Tell Love and Chocolate

2. How to Make Faux Wallpaper by Vintage Revivals

3. DIY White Brick Vase by Say Yes

4. How to Make a Tie Bottom Shirt by The Craft Caboodle

5. DIY Beaded Plant Holders by Honest to Nod

6. Makeup Organizer DIY by Cut n Latifah

7. Leather Tassels by Miss Renaissance

Wow, these are all so cute! I love that cute little makeup organizer, it sure looks a lot better than digging through your makeup bag for 15 minutes trying to find that one bottle of mascara that you SWEAR you didn't leave in your purse even though you just brought it with you to the grocery store earlier that morning when you went out to buy cucumbers for your eye mask that you just did 5 minutes ago. Useful, right?

10 Spooky Halloween Treats

Thursday, October 29, 2015

So Halloween is officially only 2 DAYS AWAY! It's literally the day after tomorrow, but guess what? There's a chance of rain that night. This happens every single year- RAIN. I mean, at least it's not pouring, but it's definitely not a light sprinkle. Just that little in between, you know? You'd know if you lived in Oregon. But I kind of like it, because it adds a sense of a rush, and you're running from house to house, trying not to get wet. I just love Halloween and I can't wait to share my costume with you guys. But if trick-or-treating isn't your thing and you like a good ole party, here are some spooky treats for you to serve~

These salty sweet candy corn pretzel treats are so simple to make!: 1. Pumpkin Rice Krispies by Cincy Shopper

2. Halloween Spider Cookies by Cincy Shopper

3. Harvest Hash- Halloween Trail Mix by The House of Hendrix

4. Candy Corn Pretzel Hugs (as shown in photo) by Sally's Baking Addiction

5. Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats by Clean and Scentsible

6. Candy Corn Punch by NellieBellie

7. Halloween Candy Bark by Just A Taste

8. Gooey Monster Eye Cookies by Lilluna

9. Oreo Cookies Eyeballs by 100 Directions

10. No-Bake Witches Hats by Princess Pinky Girl

Is your mouth watering yet? These would be great for class parties or maybe just little Halloween get-togethers, and if your country allows it, hand them out as treats to the trick or treaters! Just don't put razors in there, please? Thanks for reading!

10 DIY Halloween Decorations

Wednesday, October 28, 2015

Halloween is not even around the corner anymore- I was going to say it was around the corner, but it really isn't, because there's only 3 days left- will you survive? I won't, because this afternoon I have to get my braces tightened, which means I will have the worst of pain RETURNING to my mouth for another week. That's 1 week of my life that I'll never get back..... Oh well I'll just eat ice cream and cry over how much taffy I got in my bucket this year. What am I saying- I'm gonna eat that taffy anyway.

DIY Spider Eggs- Take white pantyhose, cut it in half, and stuff the fool with stuffing, then glue on spiders, and viola!: 1. DIY Cheesecloth Ghosts by Crafts Unleashed

2. Halloween Party Candy Corn Banner by The Pin Junkie

3. DIY Spider Eggs Decor (as shown in photo) by Passionate Penny Pincher

4. Make a BOO Sign for Your Door by The Pinning Mama

5. DIY Ombre Candy Corn Wine Bottles by Brit Co

6. Monster Mud Reaper by Instructables

7. Giant Spider Web DIY by Home Decorating Trends

8. Jack Skellington Halloween String Garland by Disney Family

9. Broken Glass Cupcakes by Martha Stewart

10. Make Your Own Glitter Pumpkins by HGTV

I often see people grabbing glitter pumpkins from Michael's and Wal-Mart for like, almost $10, which is ridiculous when you can grab a fake pumpkin and a jar of orange glitter from the craft store for, like, a dollar each. Also, aren't those little Jack Skellingtons adorable??? I always thought he was a pretty cute character. Thanks for reading!

My Spotify #TGIFnight Playlist

Tuesday, October 27, 2015

For those of you that don't know, I listen to Spotify and I'm building a pretty nice playlist collection over there. I like Spotify so much better than Pandora radio! On Pandora, everything was so random, you never knew what songs you might get- not to mention they had 10 times the ads that Spotify has. I love how on Spotify I can at least build a playlist of good songs and then hit shuffle. It rarely does suggested songs, but when it does, at least those songs are relevant to whatever else I'm listening to- Pandora never did that, it was like they were combining Fall Out Boy and then Taylor Swift, one song after the last. It was- again- completely random. I rate Spotify 10 out of 10. So,since I can't actually figure out how to embed my playlist, here are the songs that I have on my #TGIFnight playlist~

Mark Ronson- Uptown Funk
Ylvis- Truckers Hitch
Silento- Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)
OMI- Cheerleader
Ylvis- Mr. Toot
Ylvis- Yoghurt
Ylvis- The Cabin
Maroon 5- Sugar
Maroon 5- Payphone
WALK THE MOON- Shut Up and Dance
Bruno Mars- Grenade
Jessie J- Bang Bang
Ariana Grande- Problem
Iggy Azalea- Black Widow
Iggy Azalea- Fancy
Katy Perry- Firework
Katy Perry- Dark Horse
Katy Perry- California Gurls
Katy Perry- T.G.I.F.
Katy Perry- Teenage Dream
Katy Perry- Roar
Katy Perry- Wide Awake
Katy Perry- Ur So Gay
Katy Perry- Hot N Cold
Katy Perry- I Kissed a Girl
Nicki Minaj- Starships
Cher Lloyd- Want You Back
Cher Lloyd- Swagger Jagger
Avril Lavigne- Here's To Never Growing Up
Avril Lavigne- Hello Kitty
American Authors- Best Day Of My Life
Imagine Dragons- Radioactive
Fall Out Boy- Centuries
Fall Out Boy- Immortals
Bebe Rexha- I'm Gonna Show You Crazy
Macklemore- Thrift Shop
Tove Lo- Talking Body
Cher Llyod- I Wish
Rixton- Wait On Me
Jason DeRulo- Trumpets
Anna Kendrick- Cups
Meghan Trainor- All About That Bass

Hahahahahha- do I have enough Katy Perry yet?? Thanks for reading!

My Fall Goals

Monday, October 26, 2015

Every season, I try to make a list of goals to complete by the time Winter, Summer, Spring, or Fall comes around. It acts as a deadline for certain things I may want to accomplish. But while I do this, like, 4 times a year, I've never really shared it with you guys. Some of these goals I'm sure you might be able to relate to, while others are more personal, and some are downright weird. But I wrote this last month, and who knows what I was thinking last month.

Alaina Kaczmarski's Lincoln Park Apartment Tour | The Everygirl: -Have more than a full bucket of candy on Halloween (even though I can't eat most of it with these stupid braces)

-Have the most awesome costume EVER (and it will be awesome)

-Have 35+ followers on PaigeeWorld (my favorite art app)

-Participate in FMS Photo-a-Day every day until the end of the year (yeah I know that overlaps into Winter)

-Add a few inches to my scarf that I'm knitting~

-Complete 3 Poptropica islands (hahahahaha now you know what I do in my downtime)

-Participate in #inktober at least once.... I have yet to do that.

-Finish at least 3 watercolor paintings~

As you can see it's not that long of a list, but it sure is a start, and I am going to be adding to it a lot throughout Autumn, checking off random goals and such. But I hope you can relate to it just a little bit? Thanks for reading!

YAY! New Blog Design

Sunday, October 25, 2015

I'm sure most of you have noticed my new blog design! It looks pretty nice, doesn't it? Certainly a lot cleaner and a bit more chic than the last one. I cannot believe how it started out- clearly I knew nothing at all about what a nice blog looked like, nor that I could actually make mine look semi-decent without spending $1000 on a freaking blog design. At first, I thought it looked way better the way it was, but now I'm starting to realize how good it actually looks. I feel like the white is just so much prettier and simpler, and this is the way it really should stay, for at least a while. I thought it took away it's personality- but I was way wrong. What do you think? Tell me in the comments below which design you like better.

Friday DIY Roundup #38

Friday, October 23, 2015

So happy Friday, guys!! I'm so excited for the weekend right now and a little less excited for the coming week because I have to get my braces tightened on Wednesday (I know, I feel like I just got them, too), which is coincidentally the same day my friend Annika gets her braces on. Random note about this morning- I thought the half and half had gone bad because I saw little thingies in there and also it said October 30 (it's the 23) but a few weeks ago we had some half and half go bad over 10 DAYS before the date. But that was a different brand. My tea tastes weird, but I also just brushed my teeth and it smelled weird before I added sugar OR cream. It could be the espresso machine messing it up...? I didn't smell the bag before I put it in. OKAY THAT WAS RANDOM time for the DIY roundup~
Working with #Canon to make fabric transfer journals!:

1. Make Your Own Cactus Balloons by Sara Hillenberger

2. DIY Fabric Transfer Journals (as shown in photo) by A Beautiful Mess

3. Magnets from Extra Tiles by A Beautiful Mess

4. DIY Clay Hanging Planters by Paper n Stitch Blog

5. Make Your Own Pinwheel Placemats by A Crafted Life

6. Sculptural Vase DIY by Hunted Interior

7. DIY Stained Glass Soap by A Beautiful Mess

Like I always say, it would never be a true DIY roundup without at least a few crafts made by ABM themselves. But seriously, that stained glass soap looks so COOL!! I would love to make some but soap making looks like too complicated of a process and I might be a *tad* too lazy for it. Thanks for reading!

How to Doodle Journal

Thursday, October 22, 2015

It's Thursday- and that's really close to Friday! And Friday is pretty much the weekend- so HAPPY weekend, guys! I was just thinking the other day that I haven't written a journaling post in kind of a long time and so when I saw that I'd scheduled one for today, I got pretty excited! Now, doodle journaling is a little bit of a different kind of journaling, but it counts nonetheless because of how you do it and how relaxing it ends up being. So here is a very non-official but pretty complete step-by-step guide to doodle journaling.

Writing in Notebooks, lettering, fonts....need to work on this area: Step 1: Acquire a notebook of your choice. It doesn't have to be fancy, or have lined pages (it's better without the lines, honestly), it doesn't have to be recycled or anything- nothing special. Unless you want it that way, in that case by all means invest in a nice sketchbook with a cute leather cover that you might like to use for your doodle journaling. (don't use the leather cover hahaha!)

Step 2: Grab some doodling utensils!! This is the funnest part of the process because you get to buy a ton of awesome gel pens and cute little drawing pens and such. I've got some color-changing gel pens that would be GREAT for this, and a couple of adorable tutti fruiti scented gel pens that are just so colorful I could cry. Pencils work too, but pens are my personal preference. Don't be afraid, get extravagant with it, considering these will be your weapons of choice... *evil laugh*
Step 3: Start doodling! Doodle whatever you want- zentangles, shapes, swirls, people, little words, etc. Cover entire pages with a single doodle. Make them as tiny as can be. Draw Aztec designs. Make up your own Chinese symbols- do ANYTHING! You are invincible with your doodle journal by your side.

Step 4: Now work on your doodle journal every single day and you'll start to notice how relaxing it can be. Try to get on a routine- for example, keep it on your bedside table and every morning when you wake up and every night when you go to bed you can doodle your heart out.

I hope you enjoyed this (almost complete) tutorial on doodle journaling and I hope you try it out for yourself. As you can see, it's extremely simple and you'll like it a lot. Thanks for reading!

5 DIY Halloween Costumes

Monday, October 19, 2015

Halloween is just around the corner! There are officially only 12 days left until Halloween, so if you have yet to pick out a costume, I would hurry, because most costumes are either sold out or can't ship to your location by a certain time. Luckily, I'm DIYing my costume!! I'm going to be Jiji, from Kiki's Delivery Service, AKA a sarcastic black cat with a red ribbon (all I need now is the red ribbon, which probs won't be available). So if you're going to make your costume this year but don't have any ideas, I've got a few right here for you, and if you're still stumped, you should watch Eva's video about Celebrity Costumes on YouTube.

Way before I had ever read about Jay and Daisy, I was a little girl fascinated by flapper...: 1. DIY Flapper Costume (as shown in photo) by A Beautiful Mess

2. Pineapple Costume by Studio DIY

3. Bubble Gum Machine Costume by The Joy of Fashion

5. Mary Poppins Couple's Costume by Keiko Lynn

That's all I have for today (but I can't wait to do another one!), but isn't #5 amazing? I wanted my parents to do that but my dad thinks he's too fat..... Hmmm... Back to the drawing board. See you tomorrow- thanks for reading!

Also, I got Draw Something last night and it's so much fun to play and draw things with my friends. I've also been browsing Pinterest a lot, and one of my favorite things to Pin is workspaces! I've seen some pretty nice ones, too- really nice. I wish I had more than a kitchen counter and a desk with an easel on it, but I like my workspaces because they're nice, too. Let's get crafty~

Nail Polish Wishlist

Thursday, October 15, 2015

So I've been really into doing my nails lately so that they look nice, since I don't have my hands in the dirt anymore like I did all summer. Now, I can do my nails and all I have to worry about is them getting a little bit chipped, not incredibly dirty with mud under them.... It took me forever to get all the mud out after weeding. Next time I'll wear gloves? (probably not) But I do have a wishlist for more nail polishes, since all I have right now is a tiny box with a couple bottles of nail polish on it. I'll probably do a nail polish inventory in the future and write a post about it, but for now, here's my Pinterest nail polish wish list.

Best Glitter Nail Polishes And Swatches – Our Top 101. This super holo rainbow one (as shown in photo)

2. This is SO perfect for Autumn!!!

3. OOOH navy blue is so pretty <3 a="">

4. This super light pink one is amazing.

5. This one is a little bright, but I would wear it.

6. Again, this one is amazing for Autumn and I want to wear it every day!

7. This classic pink would be stunning for the springtime.

8. This pastel purple is so calming.... ZZZzzzz.....

9. This one is light but calming and beautiful, a good wedding color.

10. This one is so amazing and rebel punk and holo- everything I love in a polish.

So that's all for today, but I can't wait for tomorrow's DIY roundup because I've got dozens of awesome crafts to share with you guys. Thanks for reading!

6 DIYs for Kids

Wednesday, October 14, 2015

Hey guys, Happy Hump Day! I thought that even though I have a DIY roundup coming up the day after tomorrow I could still share a couple of DIYs because that's what this blog is all about. I've been really wanting to share my Spotify playlists with you by embedding the actual playlist onto a post like A Beautiful Mess did here, but I can't do it via mobile and in order to do it on my laptop I'd have to download the Spotify app which is so much of a hassle that maybe I'll just list the songs in another post. But here are a couple of DIYs great for kids (and adults)~

DIY kids teepee instructions - sew and no sew variations. Super easy and cheap to make!: 1. Marshmallow Shooters by Coffee Cups and Crayons

2. DIY Kids Teepee by The Thud (as shown in photo)

3. Kids Fingerprint Christmas Ornament by The Happier Homemaker

4. The 30-Minute Beanbag Chair by Project Nursery

5. Kids Mason Jar Aquarium by DIY Ready

6. DIY Knot Headbands by The Girl Inspired

I know Christmas is still a few months away (still on Haloween, over here) but I'm sorry that Christmas ornament is adorable and simply belongs on your tree this year. Thanks for reading!

5 Blogging Don'ts

Tuesday, October 13, 2015

Hey guys, it's Tuesday!! One day away from Hump Day, and since it's Spirit Week at my school, today is Nerd Day. I love this day that they do EVERY YEAR because it's fun to express my inner nerd- considering one time I actually calculated how many seconds I've been alive (haha, I'm so nerdy). But anyway, ever since last week when I blogged about 10 Reasons Why You Should Blog, I've been wanting to write more about blogging and the subject of a blog so I thought this would be suiting and I scheduled it. These are just a few mere guidelines, although they're pretty important, but there are dozens more out there (don't blow up your competitor's laptop with dynamite!!).

.: 1. First of all, don't steal content or photos without permission. This can make the other blogger very angry and it could possibly result in your blogging career in the trash. Seriously, don't steal photos and content! Use either your own photos or stock photos to avoid this.

2. Don't write for the sake of writing, write because you have something to share with the world- write if you have great content that is worth reading, and have a voice when you write.

3. Don't take your readers for granted. Even now, after I've been blogging for about a year, I get really excited when I see that I have over 50 pageviews in one day, or when I get a comment from a reader. But other bloggers feel entitled to a certain number of readers and comments- how bratty is that? Don't take them for granted, you need to appreciate that they are taking time out of their day (they don't have to do that!) to read YOUR blog.

4.  Don't hate on other bloggers! No readers like rants, and no blogger likes to be hated on by another blogger on the world wide web. Just don't do it, no matter how much they hate on you.

5. Don't forget to send giveaway prizes! Personally, I've never had a giveaway, but if you do, remember to send the prizes because next thing you know it's 6 months later and they still don't have their prize....

Everyone always talks about what to do to be a successful blogger, but I thought I'd go the other route and write about what NOT to do. Thanks for reading!

Happy Monday, readers! We are one day closer to Halloween, and there's only 19 days to go. I love Halloween, it's one of my favorite holidays besides Christmas, because who can pass up a bucket of candy while you walk around dressed like a cat in the dead of the night? No one I know. One of the best parts is getting to make your decorations, but since we still have a few weeks until Halloween, I decided a few multipurpose dollar store crafts would fit~

Friday DIY Roundup #36

Friday, October 9, 2015

Happy Friday, guys! Sorry this post is so late but I've been out all day and then my computer was acting up, plus I was super tired, but I'm getting this awesome DIY roundup published nonetheless. I've had a super fun week, there's no school today so it was really nice to have a day off to myself. Despite being a day to myself, it's been a rather long day, so I'm just gonna get straight to the crafts!

Cork Board Inspiration

Thursday, October 8, 2015

So have you seen all the cork board stuff on Pinterest?? It's practically going viral. I love cork boards, because they're so versatile, you can do practically anything with them. You can have a fabric-covered cork board, paint a cork board, glue it onto certain items (magazine holder, inside of cupboards, boxes and other containers, etc.), and so much more and then take a couple of push pins and throw up some photos, maybe posters, drawings, little reminders. It's really simple and they look really nice in your home. Here's some more inspiration:

corkboard stencil, and paint frame--supercute project for cheapo corkboard from walmart!: Paint your cork board with a stencil of your choice! Maybe put your logo on it? Paint the corners, paint stripes, paint different sections for different things. Make a rainbow cork board? The possibilities are endless.

You could also glue down fabric for a really personalized board- this tutorial can help you with that.

"my so called home" hanging measuring spoons and cups is great idea for small kitchen spaces. no digging!: Like I said above, glue it to the inside of a cupboard and BOOM! Maximum storage, you're welcome. Take up a grocery list, measuring cups (as shown in photo), maybe a coupe of photos or articles to read while you rifle around looking for that bag of marshmallows you swear you bought last week but maybe they didn't make it home?

Did I mention cork board is washi tape friendly? Tape down a cute pattern in your favorite washi tape. Maybe just do the borders, or perhaps an intricate design of your choice. The ideas go on and on...

I forgot to talk about this above, but you could take multiple boards and paint diagonal stripes on them to make something really cool looking, like in the photo below. I think it looks amazing, especially with the white.

Turn cheap Norrlida frames ($12.99) into cork boards. | 37 Cheap And Easy Ways To Make Your Ikea Stuff Look Expensive: Did you know that you can buy really cool push pins just to make your cork board that much more awesome?? Either that,or you can DIY them with a few rhinestones and some E6000 glue. Maybe try faux (small) flowers? Perhaps small knickknacks, such as little foods, and every time you run out of a certain food (such as milk) you can still a miniature milk on a pushpin and stick it on your board.

What you could also do with that E6000 glue you have on hand from the push pins is glue a couple of tacks onto clothes hangers, stick those onto your board, put up some twine, and use the clips to hang little Polaroids! Wouldn't that we super cute? (spoiler- it would)

So that's all I have to talk about today but stay tuned for a Friday DIY round up tomorrow because I cannot WAIT! It's gonna be awesome. So yeah, stay tuned. Thanks for reading!

10 Reasons Why You Should Blog

Tuesday, October 6, 2015

When I started my blog last May, I really had no idea that it would ever grow to be like how it is now with so many readers and posts every day on a variety of subjects. I just started it because I was bored, I had nothing to do, and I planned for it to be a news and science blog (haha! how nerdy was I? okay, that was embarrassing to talk about, let's move on) but I didn't think I would look forward to it every day of my week. Now, blogging is my favorite hobby, and I wouldn't want to live without it. Here are 10 reasons why you should start a blog, too~

6 Ways to Upgrade Your Apartment on a Budget | Her Campus: 1. To improve your writing skills. When I first started, I was a somewhat terrible writer, and I love how over time (no matter how little time) I've kind of started to find my voice and figure things out. I know what words to write, what I want to write about, and how I'll do it.

2. To connect with others across the world! It's really amazing to connect with someone and meet someone that loves to blog as much as you do, especially creating a community filled with these kind of people.

3. To gain confidence. Just like my writing skills, my confidence grew, too. It's really cool to see that what I'm writing matters and actual people are taking time out of there day to come here and read my blog. Thanks, readers :)
Workspace:
4. To find your voice. I don't know about you, but I want to write a book someday, and being a good writer is all about having the right voice so that other people can feel like they are actually speaking with you and so then your book gets popular.

5. To share yours and others work. When I say others, that can have a lot of meanings such as having guest posts on your blog, writing about someone's artwork, reviewing other peoples products, etc. There are a lot of ways so share work that isn't yours, along with even more ways to share work that IS yours (don't steal content, seriously)

6. To turn yourself into a DIY expert! Position yourself as an expert by considering yourself an expert at what you do and write that way. You readers will consider you an expert, and it's a win-win. You never know, you just might be an expert.

7. To help an inspire others. That is why I blog, personally, and that's why you should, too. You can do this is so many different ways, you just have to find your niche.

8. To find clarity with your thoughts. I have thousands of thoughts, wonders, and intentions swarming through my head on a daily basis and I sometimes write them down here just for clarity and the sake of getting personal with my dear readers.

9. To seek new clients, if you're a small business owner or entrepreneur. There are so many people on the internet now, that you could probably get over a third of the clients you have now off of the internet just by blogging, if you get the right following.

10. And finally, to have documentation of your life. Won't it be nice to have your great-great-grandchildren see what 2015 was like by reading your blog? Don't you want to be remembered? (If you're reading this, great-great-grandchildren, Apple is the best and don't disrespect your ancestors by buying Samsung).

It's been a really long time since I last wrote a post about blogging tips, and I'm gonna try really hard to write more on this subject of blogging tips this Fall. I hope this helped you out a little bit and inspired you to start your own blog- trust me, it's worth it. Thanks for reading!

5 Sweet Nutella Treats

Happy Monday, readers! It's the start of a new day and I new week and I want to start that off with some yummy Nutella treats because Nutella is the tastiest hazelnut spread of them all and Pinterest is just full of sweet recipes for us to make, and since Autumn is here and it's time to be cozy, I thought baking would be one of the coziest activities of all. Personally, I've only bought Nutella once (and it was HEAVENLY) but we've never bought it again out of how unhealthy it is. Isn't that sad? At least I can still gaze at the treats other people can make on Pinterest~

Friday DIY Roundup #35

Friday, October 2, 2015

Happy Friday, readers! I can definitely feel the Autumn feeling in the air, and I'm really excited to participate in my school's art competition for this year's yearbook cover and the theme is ZOMBIES! I didn't vote for it (personally I don't really like the theme) but I hope I can channel my true talent to actually win and have my art work on the cover. It's not like I don't have competition, in fact I have MAJOR competition, but whatever- let's get CRAFTY! (why do I get so far off subject every day????)

5 Etsy Necklace Favorites

Thursday, October 1, 2015

Happy October 1st, readers!! Today is officially the very first day of October, and that means All Hallows Eve is one 30 days away!!! SQUEEEE! I can't wait for Halloween, it's definitely my favorite holiday after Christmas. I just love the vibes. And the candy. And dressing up. And watching Poltergeist!!! Last year, after my sister and I were done trick-or-treating and my parents got back from dinner, my mum, my sister and I all watched Poltergeist late into the night (my dad didn't watch it with us, he thinks it's the most stupid movie ever, doesn't believe in ghosts!). Wow, I got pretty off topic today with my love for October... Let's pretend that didn't happen?
